1. Welcome:
President Steve Scamihorn, AIA called the board meeting to order at 17:30. Twenty three voting members were present. The minimum quorum was reached.2. 2009 Board, Election:
The president presented the following candidates for the respective positions as suggested by the nominating committee:
- President: Marc Di Domenico
- First-Vice President/President Elect: Charles Croigny
- Vice-President: Maureen Reinertsen
- Treasurer: Sergio Danese
- Secretary: Gregg Broderick (will carry out second year of term started by Charles Croigny)
- Chapter sections:
- Switzerland: Suzanne Marhefka
- Northern Europe: Gerry Meagher
- Southern Europe: Steven Miller
- Germany: Sandra Zettersten
- Italy: Esteban Cruz
- Eastern Europe: Nora Demeter
- France: Ray Spano
The above nominations were approved by unanimous vote.
3. Future Chapter Conferences:
The following places and dates were approved :
- Manchester, April 23-25 2009 (Lester Korzilius)
- Dubai, October 2009 (Steven Miller)
- Istanbul, spring 2010 (tenth anniversary of last meeting in Istanbul) (Murat Soygenis)
4. Adjournment of meeting:
At approximately 18:00 hrs. A motion was made to conclude the meeting; it was seconded and approved unanimously.
