Operations
Bylaws
Chapter operations start with the bylaws. Essential reading for board members, a quick reading is encouraged for chapter members interested in board candidacy and chapter operations. To learn more about the operations of the AIA in general, read the Institute bylaws.

Communication
The internet and the chapter web server are the heart of chapter communication.
All chapter news is disseminated through the chapter website. The majority of news is published on the front page, updated through a popular publishing mechanism.
A number of mailing lists, hosted on the chapter server, are used to extend the reach of the website and facilitate communication amongst groups within the chapter. Read more about mailing lists.
Contact
Look to the index page of the “about” section of the site for contact information.
Mailing lists
The chapter hosts two types of mailing lists: announce only and discussion lists. All of the lists use the same sub-domain: lists.aiaeurope.org.
Announce-only lists perform as the name suggests, providing a channel for announcements to members.
All members are subscribed to posted with the understanding that they may unsubscribe and instead visit the chapter website regularly for chapter news. This list relays posts from the front page of the chapter website.
Each section has a section mailing list. Members of each section are subscribed to their respective list (no dedicated list exists for members outside of the AIACE chartered territory). Members outside of any one section can request a subscription to any other section list. These lists are discussion lists — not solely announce-only lists — each email address subscribed to the list is enabled to email the entire list:
