Questions and answers…

How much of the program is presented in English?
A: All AIA Continental Europe conferences are conducted in English, unless otherwise noted on the program.
I have sent my registration form. Do I sign up for lectures upon registration on site or will you be sending further information?
A: A fully paid registration (verified by a receipt from AIACE) secures admittance to the full conference as noted in the program. The notable exception which defines this rule is the New Acropolis Museum tour which is restricted to 80 total registrants. As the conference is designed for 120, it is likely that some registrants will not be scheduled to attend this tour. Details on who goes when are forthcoming.
Q: To what degree is it possible to join the conference sessions on an “a la carte” basis?
A: Registrations for individual sessions or events are not being accepted. Should the possibility for “a la carte” registrations become available, a notice will be posted to the chapter website (RSS).
Q: I am not certain of my status as a member of AIA Continental Europe. Can I still register at the member rate?
A: Member rates for conference registration are for chapter members in good standing. If you have questions about your membership, please contact AIA Continental Europe . Your question will be answered by the chapter secretary or administrative assistant.
Q: I am not a member of AIA Continental Europe. Can I join now to register at the member rate?
A: Yes. Please include a completed membership form with your conference registration form.
Q: May I register by email?
A: Yes, but only by attaching a completed registration form. Registrations that do not include a completed form will not be processed. Email the form to .
Q: Are vegetarian meals available during the conference?
A: Due to the small size of AIACE chapter conferences and the limited hours available to prepare (almost all volunteer), specific dietary requests can not be guaranteed. All requests are made known to the conference organizer(s).
Q: How do I register for the one-day extension? What will the one day extension cost?
A: See the registration form. Registrations for the extensions are not restricted to one guest per registering professional. Fewer spaces are available for the extension, however; registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Q: How many of the LU's earn HSW credits?
A: Descriptions for CES credits are still being written and reviewed. Typically, the majority of AIACE conference LU's have earned HSW credits.
Q: Is a map of conference locations available?
A: KMZ file of selected conference locations. What is a KMZ file? The format used to exchange data within Google Earth.
Q: May students of architecture or an allied discipline attend the conference? If so, how much will they have to pay?

Student registrations are no longer being accepted.

Q: May I follow some of the lectures without paying the registration fees?
A: See the program for events “open to the public”.
Q: I am a Greek architect, member of TEE, and am wondering how I would register with a registration code “c” or “d”? The registration form available does not specify. Does registration code “c” or “d”, secure a place in the events?
A: An error in communications previously listed code "c" as registration for TEE members. This was incorrect. A “d” code registration secures admission to all “d” code events listed in the program. (Please note the program is subject to change.) The registration codes as noted on the program appear on the registration form.
Q: Could you please book [“n” number of] places and send us all the necessary information?
A: All information required for registration is available within the AIACE Athens conference web pages. Spaces can not be reserved without a registration form and full payment of the appropriate fees.
Q: Would you please send invitation letters to attend the conference?
A: AIACE will not issue invitations to potential conference attendees. All registrations will be issued a receipt confirming registration.
Q: May I ask another question?
A: Yes, please direct Athens conference questions only to . For other questions about AIA Continental Europe, please start here.
