Conference hotel

Attendees, are reminded that the conference starts in Milan on Friday morning but ends in Florence Friday and Saturday evenings. No conference hotel has been designated. Chapter organizers have assembled lists of hotels in Milan and Florence. No endorsement or availability is implied. Attendees are responsible for their own accommodations and transportation aside from that which is explicitly stated in the program.

 

Questions and answers…

How much of the program is presented in English?
A: All AIA Continental Europe conferences are conducted in English, unless otherwise noted on the program.
Q: To what degree is it possible to join the conference sessions on an “a la carte” basis?
A: Registrations for individual sessions or events are not being accepted. All registrants must pay full price for the full conference. Separate registrations are being taken for dinner on Saturday. A registrant can choose to not attend or have an “unregistered” guest attend. (“Unregistered” meaning someone who is not attending conference sessions or events, aside from the Saturday dinner.) Extra attendees for the dinner must be noted and paid for through the registration form.
Q: I am not certain of my status as a member of AIA Continental Europe. Can I still register at the member rate?
A: Member rates for conference registration are for chapter members in good standing. If you have questions about your membership, please contact AIA Continental Europe . Your question will be answered by the chapter secretary or administrative assistant.
Q: I am not a member of AIA Continental Europe. Can I join now to register at the member rate?
A: Yes. Please include a completed membership form with your conference registration form.
Q: May I register by email?
A: Yes, but only by attaching a completed registration form. Registrations that do not include a completed form will not be processed. Email the form to .
Q: May I select vegetarian meals during the conference?
A: The registration form includes a request for vegetarian meals. No guarantee is currently available that requests can be met.
Q: How many of the LU's earn HSW credits?
A: All of the currently programmed 8 LU’s earn HSW credits.
Q: Is a map of conference locations available?
A: The organizer is aware of a request for a map with conference locations.
Q: May students of architecture or an allied discipline attend the conference? If so, how much will they have to pay?
A: No special student registrations are available. Students must register at the professional rate.
Q: Could you please book [“n” number of] places and send us all the necessary information?
A: No. All information required for registration is available herein. Spaces can not be reserved without a registration form and full payment of the appropriate fees.
Q: Would you please send invitation letters to attend the conference?
A: AIACE will not issue invitations to potential conference attendees. All registrations will be issued a receipt confirming registration.
