AIA Continental Europe Conference and Chapter Meeting
8-12 April 2010
Program, 30 Mar 2010, subject to change. Full registration with optional Monday yields 23.5 CEUs, 20.5 of HSW and 5.5 of SD. Even with the exchange rate and late registration, one would still be hard pressed to beat that CES value!
Registration
Early registration ends 11 February 2010 5 March 2010. Costs are noted on the registration form.

Tips upon arrival in İstanbul…
- AIA Continental Europe 2010 International Conference will be held at the Building Information Centre (YEM — Yapi Endustri Merkezi), located at Fulya.

- It is suggested that you check in your hotel first upon arrival on 8 April, Thursday and report to the conference venue between 16.00-19.00 for registration right before the cocktail reception and buffet dinner starting at 19.00.

Q: How much of the program is presented in English?
A: All AIA Continental Europe conferences are conducted in English, unless otherwise noted on the program.Q: I have sent my registration form. Do I sign up for lectures upon registration on site or will you be sending further information?
A: A fully paid registration (verified by a receipt from AIACE) secures admittance to the full conference as noted in the program.Q: To what degree is it possible to join the conference sessions on an “a la carte” basis? Can a guest “come along” on some of the tours? Even for a small fee?
A: Partial registrations or registrations for individual sessions or events are not accepted unless noted on the registration form. Registrations for guests are as noted on the registration form.Q: I am not certain of my status as a member of AIA Continental Europe. Can I still register at the member rate?
A: Member rates for conference registration are for chapter members in good standing. If you have questions about your membership, please contact AIA Continental Europe . Your question will be answered by the chapter secretary or administrative assistant.Q: I am not a member of AIA Continental Europe. Can I join now to register at the member rate?
A: Yes. Please include a completed membership form with your conference registration form.Q: May I register by email?
A: Yes, but only by attaching a completed registration form. Registrations that do not include a completed form will not be processed. Email the form to .Q: Are vegetarian meals available during the conference?
A: Due to the small size of AIACE chapter conferences and the limited number of volunteer hours available to prepare, specific dietary requests can not be guaranteed. Requests are forwarded to the conference organizer(s).Q: How do I register for the one-day extension? What will the one day extension cost?
A: See the registration form. Registrations for the extensions are not restricted to one guest per registering professional. Fewer spaces are available for the extension, however; registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.Q: How many of the CEUs earn HSW credits?
A: Descriptions for CES credits are typically still being written and reviewed when conference registration opens. In the past, the majority of AIACE conference LUs have earned HSW credits.Q: How many of the CEUs earn SD credits?
A: SD credits will be noted on form C.Q: Is a map of conference locations available?
A: Yes.Q: May students of architecture or an allied discipline attend the conference? If so, how much will they have to pay?
