17:00  Welcoming Reception with Hors d’oeuvres and drinks in the Architekturzentrum, Museum Quarter. A classical string quartet performance will take place at 18:30. Attendees are encouraged to stick around, enjoy the music and get to know other members and guests.

13:15  Historical architectural walking tour through the inner city district provided by Architectural Tours Vienna. The tour will be divided into smaller groups, each with professional tour guides. Your provided headsets will be needed. 2

10:45  Presentation from architects Anna Popelka and Georg Poduschka of PPAG Architekten. We will be visiting the School Campus project from PPAG in the afternoon 1

11:45  Presentation by Architect Dieter Henke from Henke Schreieck Architekten, with recent works in Vienna. A site visit from henke Schreieck will be provided in the afternoon 1

13:00  Lunch break at Dots 21, located in the 21er Haus Museum 

The conference participants will be divided into two groups, guided by Architectural Tours Vienna. The groups will be given an architectural account of the future developments in the area and directed further toward the construction site visit and school campus tour. Your provided headsets will be needed

Monday extension: Wine Architecture (detailed description of the extension

Museumplatz 1 

09:45  The meeting point will be in front of the Museumsquartier, in front of Museumplatz Boulevard, at 9:45am. We will depart on the tour bus at 10:00am sharp. 

10:30  Visit at winemaker Rainer Christ. A tour of the facilities and wine cellar, followed by some tasting 

11:30  Scenic bus ride from Vienna to the town of Langenlois, in the Kamp River Valley 

12:15  Lunch at Schloss Grafenegg (costs for lunch on your own) 

13:45  Visit at Winemaker Fred Loimer. A tour of the facilities and wine cellar, followed by some tasting 

14:45  Visit to the Loisium, World of Wine. A Tour through the theme-like wine museum, followed by a glass of wine of your choice. Additional wines can be tasted at an additional expense. The museum entrance is not mandatory and a short walk around the vineyards can be substituted. 

16:15  Bus ride back to Vienna.
