Europe-Wide Engagement

AIA Europe honors excellence in architectural practice and education through its Design Awards and Student Awards Programs.

The AIA Europe Design Awards recognizes AIA members’ outstanding work within AIA Europe territories in the categories of Architectural Design, Interior Design, Urban Design, Environmental Design and Unbuilt Projects. The 2015-16 awards went to projects by AIA and Int’l Associate members based in Turkey, Czech Republic, England and the United States, ­all with exemplary international practices that highlight AIA Europe’s professional profile.

The AIA Europe Design Awards and The AIA Europe Scholarship are offered in alternating years. These programs are dedicated to raising the profile of architects with ties to both Europe and the United States, mutually benefitting the chapter, its members, and a future generation of architects who aim to think and work across borders.
