Conference Goals and Objectives:  Adaptive reuse repurposes historic or underutilized buildings, blending architectural heritage with contemporary needs.  This approach fosters layered environments that invite curiosity and connection, offering a link to the past while integrating modern uses.  

Through visits and lectures, the conference will explore how adaptive reuse has enriched the city's urban landscape making experiences more accessible.

IE University's Architecture program and Vertical Campus in Madrid will play a role in this event.
